CPR Efforts on Unresponsive Whistler Blackcomb Snowboarder Were Unsuccessful

An adult male snowboarder has died following a serious accident at Whistler Blackcomb, just days after the resort opened for the 2016 winter season.

According to a report by CBC News, the 27-year-old man was found unconscious and unresponsive on Saturday, November 26, 2016, in a challenging section of the mountain known as Arthur’s Choice. This area is described as “gladed,” meaning it contains thinned-out trees and natural hazards that make it more dangerous than standard ski runs.
