Winnipeg First Aid offers food handling certification courses to individuals that work with manufacturing, preparing, storing, and shipping foods. This online course meets section 5 of the food service establishment by-law of the City of Winnipeg. This by-law was created to regulate food service establishments.
Participants can either register for our online course or our in-class program. Our online and in-class courses in Winnipeg are offered at a low price of 89.99 and competitive rates are available for groups and private classes.
The online course Food Handler Certification Courses in Winnipeg requires approximately 6 to 10 hours to complete and requires participants to attend an examination upon completion of the online portion at our training facilities (exams are available multiple times per week at 4 pm).

How Long Are the Food Handler Certification Courses in Winnipeg?
The online course is self-paced and can be stopped and started at any time. The online course takes approximately 6 to 10 hours to complete and participants must complete an examination at our training center in order to successfully complete the course.
Refunds, Transfer and Cancellations:
Refunds are not accepted within 72 hours of the first course. Transfers within 72 hours are charged 25 dollars. Candidates that request a refund or transfer prior to 72 hours of the first course registered will receive a full refund. There are no refunds for rescheduled events.
What Kind of Certification Will I Receive?
Participants that successfully complete the course will receive certification that meets FOOD SERVICE ESTABLISHMENT BY-LAW NO. 5160/89
