The Standard First Aid and CPR course is 16 hours long and offers multiple CPR certification options. Choosing an upgraded CPR level, such as CPR HCP (BLS), adds an additional 2 hours of training for more advanced life-saving skills.
The total cost for the Intermediate/Standard First Aid and CPR course is $129.99, with the CPR HCP (BLS) option priced at $142.99. For a more affordable and flexible learning experience, this course is also available through our blended learning program, combining online theory with in-class practical training.
Participants who successfully enroll in the Standard First Aid and CPR course will gain hands-on training and essential knowledge in managing a wide range of medical emergencies, including:
- CPR for adults, children, and infants.
- Choking rescue for conscious and unconscious victims.
- Respiratory emergencies, including anaphylaxis, asthma, and hyperventilation.
- Circulatory emergencies, such as heart attacks, angina, and strokes.
- Severe bleeding control, including deadly and internal bleeding.
- Musculoskeletal injuries, like fractures, broken bones, sprains, and strains.
- Environmental emergencies, such as heat stroke, hypothermia, and frostbite.
- Spinal injuries and proper immobilization techniques.
- Poisoning response and treatment.
- Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training.
- Seizure recognition and care.
- Diabetic emergencies, including hypo- and hyperglycemia management.

After successful completion of the course, candidates will receive a CSA approved intermediate/standard first aid and CPR level “C” or HCP certificate. The certificate is nationally accredited.
Refunds are not accepted within 72 hours of the first course. Transfers within 72 hours of the course are charged $25.00. Prior to 72 hours of the course, refunds and transfers are free of charge. There are no refunds for rescheduled events.
Students are strongly advised to check with their employer prior to enrollment to ensure the certification meets their requirements.
