Winnipeg First Aid is proud to offer workplace-approved Standard Childcare First Aid, CPR Level “B,” and AED recertification courses. These courses are designed for individuals looking to renew their expiring certifications. This one-day refresher course is shorter, more affordable, and more convenient than the full-length program, requiring approximately 6 to 7 hours of class time at our Winnipeg training facility.

To be eligible for recertification, candidates must:
- Have completed a full or recertification course within the past 3 years.
- Present a valid certification card from a credible provider, such as:
- St. John Ambulance
- The Red Cross
- St. Mark James Training
- The Heart and Stroke Foundation
- Lifesaving Society
- Expired certification cards will not be accepted.
- Candidates who fail to present a valid card at the start of the class will not receive a recertification card.

The Standard Childcare First Aid refresher course runs for approximately 6 hours, covering all topics from the full course in a condensed, efficient format.
Upon successful completion, candidates will receive a workplace-approved certification valid for 3 years. Both wallet-sized and wall-mount certificates are available.
We offer flexible refund and transfer options, but requests must be made at least 3 days before the course start date. Unfortunately, no refunds or transfers are available within 72 hours of the course start time, and rescheduled events are non-refundable.
Students are strongly advised to check with their employer prior to enrollment to ensure the certification meets their requirements.
