We offer CSA and Manitoba Health approved emergency first aid and CPR training courses throughout Winnipeg. Participants that successfully complete this course receive CSA approved basic first aid certification. This is one of the most popular first aid and CPR courses offered through Winnipeg First Aid. CPR level “A” training comes standard with this course, however, candidates can opt for a higher level CPR “C” or BLS. All emergency first aid courses include certification in automated external defibrillators (AED’s).

The length of this course is 8 hours. It is typically completed within one day. The length of the course depends on the level of CPR certification included. An upgrade of CPR training is an additional 2 hours in length.
The cost of this course is 86.99 and 108.99 if partnered with BLS. This course is available for a cheaper price when registering for the blended learning format.
Candidates enrolled in this course will learn the following skills and knowledge in a basic first aid course:
- CPR on a adult or child victim.
- Recognition and treatment of victims of choking.
- Respiratory Emergencies including anaphylaxis, asthma and hyperventilation.
- Circulatory Emergencies including heart attacks, angina and strokes.
- External Bleeding (minor and major).
- Broken bones and fractures.
- Sprains and Strains.
- Training in the use of automated external defibrillators (AED’s).
Certification:
Candidates that successfully complete this course will receive a Manitoba Health and CSA approved basic first aid, CPR and AED certificate. This certificate is a nationally accredited and valid for 3 years. Certificates are provided immediately upon successful completion of the course.

“No Pressure” Policy:
At Winnipeg First Aid we have a “no pressure” policy in which candidates can re-take the course if they do not complete the course the first time.
To register for emergency first aid, CPR, and AED courses in Winnipeg select the course date, time and location from the selection below. Complete the registration form and pre-pay to guarantee yourself a spot in the course. Accepted methods of payment for our on-line registration include PayPal, credit card and debit card. Refunds are not accepted within 72 hours of the first course. Transfers within 72 hours are charged 25 dollars. Candidates that request a refund or transfer prior to 72 hours of the first course registered will receive a full refund. There are no refunds for rescheduled events.
Students are strongly advised to check with their employer prior to enrollment to ensure the certification meets their requirements.
