Quick action by police officers and paramedics in Lethbridge saved the life of a 19-year-old man who suffered a fentanyl overdose late Saturday night. The incident highlights the extreme dangers of fentanyl and the life-saving importance of immediate emergency response.

According to the Lethbridge Police Service, officers were dispatched to the 500 block of 6th Avenue South around 11 p.m. after receiving a report of a suspicious individual. When police arrived, they found the young man unresponsive, without a pulse, and not breathing.
