Why CPR Training Matters

This tragic incident highlights how sudden medical emergencies can occur without warning. When a person collapses or loses consciousness, early CPR can help maintain circulation and oxygen flow until advanced medical care arrives.

Learning CPR equips bystanders with the confidence to act during critical moments. Training programs—such as CPR and AED courses offered by Winnipeg First Aid—focus on real-life emergency response skills that can make a difference before paramedics arrive.
