Drowning can occur silently and within minutes, particularly with children. Even when CPR is started quickly, outcomes can still be tragic. This incident underscores the importance of constant supervision, especially around private lakes and cottage areas where lifeguards and rescue equipment are often unavailable.

Why CPR and Water Safety Training Matter

While not every emergency can be prevented, having the skills to respond quickly can make a critical difference. Enrolling in CPR and AED training helps individuals recognize emergencies sooner and act with confidence when seconds matter.
