Winnipeg First Aid offers CPR Level “A” courses, the most basic and essential CPR training available. This course focuses solely on CPR skills and does not include first aid training or certification. Delivered through St. Mark James Training, the CPR Level A course also provides training and certification in the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs), ensuring you’re prepared to respond confidently in emergency situations.

The length of this course is 4 hours. It is completed within one day.
The cost of this course is $62.99. The blended course is only $58.99 if you want to do half of the course online and half in class.
Participants in this CPR course will gain the skills and confidence to assist adult and child victims in a variety of emergency situations, including:
- Unconscious but breathing individuals
- Unconscious and non-breathing individuals
- Conscious and unconscious choking victims
- Situations requiring the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs)
- Circulatory emergencies such as heart attacks, angina, and strokes
This comprehensive training ensures you’re well-prepared to respond effectively in critical moments.
Candidates that successfully complete the skills component and the multiple choice test, with a minimum grade of 75%, will receive a workplace approved St Mark James Training CPR level “A” and AED certificate. This certificate is nationally accredited and valid throughout Canada.
Winnipeg First Aid has a “no pressure” policy. If you do not complete the course the first time you are eligible to re-take the course at no extra cost.

We do not accept refunds or cancellations within 72 hours of the first course. Prior to 72 hours candidates can receive a full refund. There are no refunds for rescheduled events.
