This 14-hour course is typically completed over 2 days and provides comprehensive, hands-on training tailored for those working in childcare, daycare, and early childhood education.
Upon successful completion, participants receive a workplace-approved Standard Childcare First Aid certification, including CPR Level B and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training. This certification is valid for 3 years, and CPR Level B is a mandatory component of the course.
As the highest level of childcare first aid certification available, this course equips you with the essential skills and knowledge needed to respond confidently and effectively in emergency situations involving children.

Standard childcare first aid costs $128.99. This course is available in both full in class or blended learning formats.
Refunds and transfers are not accepted within 72 hours of the start of the first course. Prior to that time you can request a full refund. There are no refunds for rescheduled events.
Students are strongly advised to check with their employer prior to enrollment to ensure the certification meets their requirements.
Candidates that successfully complete this course will receive a workplace-approved standard childcare first aid certificate with CPR level “B” and AED certification. This certificate is valid for 3 years. Recertification courses in Winnipeg are available for this program.
At Winnipeg First Aid we have a no pressure policy which states that if you do not complete the course the first time you can retake the course at no additional cost. 100% attendance is required.
